MEET THE OWNER

I didn’t grow up in a family-owned trash business, but I was hooked early on. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from summers spent riding on the back of a garbage truck, helping crush trash in the hopper. As a teenager, a local hauler took me under his wing and introduced me to the business side of the industry, and I’ve been passionate about it ever since.

My family moved to Nebraska in 2005, settling in a suburb of Omaha. I went on to study diesel mechanics in college, but quickly realized it wasn’t a long-term fit for me. I knew I wanted to be out in the field, building something of my own.

That’s what led me to start Junker’s Sanitation, shortly after purchasing DIY Dumpsters

in Bellevue. With years of experience working as a mechanic and driver for other waste companies around the Omaha metro, I understand both the equipment and the customer service it takes to run a dependable operation.
